Identifying Resources
To address unmet health needs of women, the Women's Wellness Centers serve as a highly visible model for comprehensively addressing and managing the health care needs of women through an effective programmatic mix of health promotion, education, early diagnosis, treatment and follow up. The initial success of the Women's Wellness Centers heavily depends upon careful selection of the center's staff and actual facility. The following steps provide guidance for assessing the overall capabilities of the founding institution and identifying key resources.
General and site assessment

- Identify training needs to optimize the structure and content programs for employees of the Women's Wellness Center in order to improve the quality of services offered by the Centers and to perfect their operations
- Assess organizational commitment to women's health
